3 Body Problem Swag
3 Body Problem, released in spring of 2024, is based on Liu Cixin’s The Three Body Problem – the first novel in the sci-fi trilogy the Remembrance of Earth's Past.
The primary purpose of the title swag is to simplify the cosmic scientific concepts explored, so that a lay person would understand it easily.
As an educational piece and also to weave in the themes of space and books, the hero item designed was a hanging mobile sculpture made from two components, housed in two hardback book covers. Recipients were provided with a hanging rod and instructions on how to assemble the mobile through folding and twisting.

The 3 Body Problem book explains the theory of the three-body problem. Housed within it is a steel sculpture designed to replicate multiple stars orbiting a planet and serves to explain the concept metaphorically.
The Sophon book explains the theory of Trisolarian Technology. Housed within it is a steel sculpture designed to replicate the concept of creating Sophons — the ability to compress large mass into particle size through folding.
